Kathryn Shirley

Kathryn qualified as a solicitor in October 2015 after completing her training contract with a regional law firm. She initially specialised in the field of Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury, before returning to the property sector where she dealt with all aspects of freehold and leasehold residential property transactions, and worked on a range of commercial property matters. Kathryn also specialised in repossession claims, acting for landlord clients.

Kathryn joined the Commercial team at Gullands as an Associate in February 2022. She advises both private individuals and companies in commercial property acquisitions, disposals, and lease renewals.

Education and qualifications

Kathryn graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in French and Russian before studying the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Guildford.

Personal

In her spare time Kathryn is a member of a local amateur dramatics society, enjoys country walks, yoga, tennis, and is currently learning Spanish.
